# Billing recharge conflict

> What the `billing_recharge_conflict` error means and what to do next.

The API, CLI and MCP return `billing_recharge_conflict` with HTTP 409. Repeating the same request unchanged does not help.

## What to do

The auto-recharge settings changed since you read them, or this key was used with other settings. Run 'ohmyhost billing recharge get --organization ULID --json'. If it already shows the requested change, stop. Otherwise, only if the Owner still wants it, send the change again with the returned revision and a new idempotency key. Never re-enable charges without the Owner's approval.

If the steps above do not resolve it, [report it](/feedback) with the `request_id` from the error.
