# Compute change pending

> What the `compute_change_pending` error means and what to do next.

The API, CLI and MCP return `compute_change_pending` with HTTP 409. Repeating the same request unchanged does not help.

## What to do

A database size change of this project is still running. Every 60 seconds read latest\_operation from 'ohmyhost project status --project ULID --json', or 'ohmyhost operation get OPERATION\_ID --json' for the change you started, until it ends, then repeat this request. Do not submit another size change or a deletion meanwhile.

If the steps above do not resolve it, [report it](/feedback) with the `request_id` from the error.
