# Compute performance paid required

> What the `compute_performance_paid_required` error means and what to do next.

The API, CLI and MCP return `compute_performance_paid_required` with HTTP 403. Repeating the same request unchanged does not help.

## What to do

Performance compute needs active Paid and usable credits or grace; repeating unchanged does not help. Read 'ohmyhost credits account --organization ULID --json'. On Free, the Owner may start Paid with 'ohmyhost billing checkout --offer paid'; without usable credits, they may add credits. Until then, keep standard compute.
