# Storage jurisdiction conflict

> What the `storage_jurisdiction_conflict` error means and what to do next.

The API, CLI and MCP return `storage_jurisdiction_conflict` with HTTP 409. Repeating the same request unchanged does not help.

## What to do

Set storage.jurisdiction in ohmyhost.yaml to the project's region (us or eu) shown by 'ohmyhost project status', commit and push, then plan the new commit (for a promotion, deploy it to Dev and promote again); the unchanged commit fails again. A project cannot move its files between regions; do not delete or recreate the project to change it.

If the steps above do not resolve it, [report it](/feedback) with the `request_id` from the error.
